Slow is not about being lazy. We all need to clear the mind, relaxation, rest, recreation.
Slowing down is a choice, not always an easy one, but it leads to a greater level of happiness and appreciation of life.
Pause, breath and focus on one thing at a time.
A slower – paced life means making time to enjoy whatever you are doing, appreciate the outdoor, the natural and architectural beauty, really focus on whoever you’re talking to or spending time with.
It is very important to focus on what’s really important and let go of the rest.
Focus on what’s going on right now: people around you, environment, actions. Be mindful of whatever you’re doing at the moment, always bringing you back to the present moment.
Really connect with people, rather than just meet them.
Take the time to go outside and spend time walking and exploring beaches, caves, bays, coves, crystal clear sea, taking a deep breath of fresh air, feeling the sensations of wind and water against your skin.
When you eat or drink, appreciate the flavors and textures.
Be fully present, whatever you’re doing and find the enjoyable aspects in everything.
Take frequently deep breaths and feel the stress going out.
Slow yourself down. If something isn’t necessary, you can probably live without it.
Have a positive thinking.
Make room for the most important to your life and eliminate the other less essential things.
It’s your life. It’s your time.
Live simply.
